The Enlightened Children’s Program will run concurrently with Enlightened Society Assembly at the Berkeley Shambhala Center. The Children’s Program will offer the Shambhala teachings on basic goodness to participants through play, art, music, community, nature exploration, yoga, meditation and mindfulness, and more. Each day will include sessions for children during all adult ESA sessions. This program, the first of its kind, is the beginning of making the Shambhala teachings more accessible to families and children.

  • Children 4-12 are invited to participate.
  • If you have teens over 12 who are interested in a mentor program concurrent with the children’s program, please contact Leslie Gossett (email below) for more information.
  • If you have children under 4 for whom you will need care during the Assembly, please contact Leslie Gossett (email below). With enough interest, we can certainly arrange care to allow you to participate in ESA.
