In Santa Rosa, exuberant work crews provided a major uplift to the Santa Rosa Shambhala Center over two weekends in October, deep-cleaning the Shrine Room and environs, and painting the recently annexed Community Room in preparation for Acharya Richard John's arrival in November.

In Davis, the Davis Shambhala Center accepted an invitation from the City of Davis to host one of its ARTober open houses. The "evening-in-serious-motion" included an ikebana demonstration from Helen Tashima; a tai chi demonstration; an "open mic sans mic" featuring folktunes, show tunes, poetry, drumming; and a tasty assortment of food.
